Il giroscopio a 6 assi regola automaticamente la velocità dei rotori per mantenere l'X4 stabile anche in presenza di raffiche di vento, potendo quindi essere usato all'esterno. I motori sono senza nucleo per cui sono più piccoli ma più potenti, silenziosi e reattivi di quelli convenzionali con nucleo in ferro.
