This F-5E is one of the highest spec and quickest jets on the market. It is a massive 1.3m in length and is fitted with a 70mm EDF engine; the extra power and speed is produced by the 40A brushless setup. As well as extra power and speed this jet also features an automatic landing gear system and turning front wheel. To allow this the set includes eight servos. It's a highly maneuverable model that can easily perform inverted flight, loops and rolls etc. The model comes pre-painted - Grey.
The set includes electronic speed controller, ducted fan with electric brushless motor and 8 electric servos, all pre-installed allowing full 3D control of the aileron, elevator, rudder, throttle and retracts. The 70mm ducted fan system with the brushless motors gives enormous power pushing the jet to crazy speeds. The high power allows full aerobatic characteristics, the inside loops, outside loops, axial rolls, inverted flight, knife edge, stall turns, hammerheads, and spins are all possible.
The attention to detail from Starmax who are the leading rc jet manufacturers gives the jet a nice realistic appearance. The jet can take off from the ground or can be hand launched. If you are not ready to be flying at high speeds then you can also fly the plane very slowly while you get used to it without any problems. The jet is made from shock resistant EPS foam with reinforced fuselage and strong wings. Should you need any spare parts though they are all available from our site. PNP stands for plug and play, and describes a model that is somewhere between Almost Ready to Fly (ARF) and Ready to Fly (RTF). A PNP model has the motor, ESC, servos and some radio gear installed but is missing the receiver, transmitter, batteries and charger which are available to buy if you do not have them.
